During the summer of 2018, as more and more of Ishwar’s friends began to visit the dera for seva and as ISHA began to accumulate vehicles and equipment, it was agreed that a large, multipurpose, four-season building was needed to support all of the various dera activities.
The building was designed to safely store tools and equipment, provide large garage bays for repair and maintenance of vehicles, contain a wood shop and metal shop, and support an attached greenhouse. Volunteers began the seva in the summer of 2018, and the building became fully operational in 2021.
2018 Tasks: Install footings, build wood frame, install decking and metal on roof, install metal walls and windows, install electrical.
2019 Tasks: Install garage and greenhouse windows and doors, drill water well, pour concrete floor, run wiring and lights, build attached carport, install garage doors, frame up the loft, build stairs built, install greenhouse floor/counters/shelves/growing tables/sink, install wifi.
2020 Tasks: Install spray foam insulation, build work benches, install heater.
2021 Tasks: Finish building work benches.
